I would like to apologise to all Management and Staff for my previous comments. My phone but not my posting. I use this Pub regularly and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and good service. Highly recommended.
Brilliant food and great selection of beers. Good prize games too.
Really nice little pub. Didn't eat but food looked great. Staff friendly. Had warm mulled wine, that tastes great. Lovely place for a drink with friends.
Just come home from a Christmas meal. Will not be returning. Awful service, or lack of... !! Pre booked our food and table for 6pm. Doors to restaurant locked and couldn't get in. Slow service. I had a piece of plastic in my soup. Main meal was delicious and hot tho. Asked for more drinks but it wasn't waitress service. Had to go and get our drinks from the bar. Asked for the bill. Once again had to ask at the bar. Our 5 per head deposit was not deducted. Bar staff had no clue. Luckily I still had the receipt. Felt sorry for the poor waiter who could only keep apologising. It wasn't his fault. No one seemed to care about the piece of plastic or lack of customer service. I would not recommend going here at all to anyone.
I came in for a quick bite. I was with a bicycle so I wanted to eat outside, but there was a lady (perhaps a manager) who told me to bring in the bike and found me a quiet seat near an outlet so I could charge my phone. She was very attentive and it made an impression
