The best B&B we ever had in the United Kingdom. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast. Landlady and landlord are very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I stayed here in April 2018 for a couple of nights. Location wise, it was perfect. The trail for the hike at Seven Sisters starts at about 10 minutes from Hill House. The owners are absolutely lovely and cook up a hearty breakfast (we asked for the vegetarian option and it was great). The room faced the farms at the back and the view was beautiful! Really well kept place, very cosy. We were given a key so we could come and go as we pleased. The bus stops right in front od Hill House and the routes will connect you to the town centre on one side and the Seven Sisters on the other. It's such a peaceful and pretty location. Highly recommended.
Five stars are not enough! The rooms are wonderful, Wendy was a friendly, welcoming host. The room was large. bright and spotlessly clean. The decor was up to date with attractive shabby chic furniture. Nothing is left to chance, they have thought of everything you could wish for. The views from both the bedroom window and the bathroom had great, sweeping views of the downs. The en suite bathroom was large, airy and with a super shower and roll top bath. We would have stayed longer if she hadn't been booked up. The morning breakfast was delicious with many choices. Honestly, go there you will definitely not be sorry. Peter and Hazel
Beautifully restored home with every detail taken into account. Wendy is warm and friendly and cooks a lovely brekkie. Good WiFi, very quiet at night and a perfect location to walk straight down to the Hope Gap and start your walk. Great bus services with a stop right outside. Wendy was also very gracious when we pointed out an issue which was resolved on the spot. Just perfect!
A super B&B. Beautiful room with an enormous en-suite and view out towards the Seven Sisters. Really quiet even though it is on the main road. Great breakfast to set you up for the day. Really handy for walking the surrounding area. There is a bus stop (#12) no more than 50 yards away that connects Eastbourne to Brighton. You can walk to the centre of Seaford in 25 minutes.
